Cherating pictures

Najihah and Ali...

Here are some of the picture we took in Cherating when we were there last weekend. We stayed at the Impiana Hotel which they say has just been refurbished to look brand new. We didn't take any pictures of the hotel because honestly, it didn't really look like it had been refurbished. It was pretty run down. They have so much land there but not utilised completely. The design of the hotel and its layout was very much off.

Najihah couldn't get enough of the pool...

The rooms were pretty decent, sprawling and spacious but something about the decor and finishing didn't give it that added umph hotels or a resort facing the beach should have. The food was, 2 star lah. Better to eat at Hai Peng or any of the food stalls outside. Decent pricing and decent selection. They hotel organised a seafood barbecue for the staff dinner and that was a really nice spread. They mad this honeydew sago for dessert. Must definitelt give it a try at home!

The pool was pretty big but Bob said he didn't feel the water was actually that clean. Hmmmmm....

But the hotel management was really polite and hospitable unlike front line service in KL. They were not haugthy or snotty. And all local so.... (yes, I am championing the local workforce). They organised the games for Bob's staff really well. There was a selection of games and they attended to it from A to Z.

All in all, it was a good trip.
